API

Wondergraphs makes it possible to build great reports with a few clicks. Sometimes however, you want to do things automatically, without any clicks at all. This is where the Wondergraphs API comes in.

Nearly all of the functionality of Wondergraphs is available through a clean and simple REST API. No web service definitions, no complex authentication systems, our API is built so you can get to work quickly.

Features

The API is growing along as demand poses itself. If there is a specific need not listed, do let us know and we will figure out how to make your life easier. Currently, you can:

Load data into Wondergraphs

You can upload data files, import data from external services or relational databases. Your data will be ready for exploration in no time.

Analyse data & create graphs

Programmatically create graphs by specifying how you want your data to be analysed. Wondergraphs will then crunch the numbers and make the images available for download, ready to be used in your software, website or any other way you see fit.

Create & manage reports

The Wondergraphs API provides full control over reports, with operations to create reports, add and remove graphs, duplicate reports or update a report with new data. Reports can also be exported to a number of formats (including Powerpoint Presentations with your styling).

Availability

Our API is available on request. Contact us and we gladly set you up.

Use cases

Here are some cool things people are doing with our API:

Analyse sales data: Once the sales data comes in at the end of the month, have it analysed and sent out as a presentation in minutes. No more endless clicking in presentation software: once the data is in, it'll be ready to discuss.

Plug it into your application: Feed data from your application into Wondergraphs and give your customers the power to monitor and manage their busness with all the analytics and reporting flexibility they need. There's no need for your developers to build complex reporting features, so they can spend more time on the actual product or project.

We would love to hear from you how you'd like to use our API.
